Clinic Front Door Screener-(Temporary Position)

Job Summary: This position supports hospital operations by monitoring incoming employees, providers, patients, vendors and guests at the designated screening station.

Reports to: Clinic Director

Education: High school diploma or GED                                               

Experience: Prior healthcare experience preferred

Primary Job Duties: 

  • Complete screening assessment for each individual entering the facilities including temperature checks and symptom questionnaires
  • Uses established protocols to permit or restrict entrance based upon individual’s temperature and symptom responses
  • Communicates visitation policies and other necessary information for patients, staff and other individuals requesting entrance to the facility
  • Greet and communicates directions and escalates questions and concerns to management and other departments as needed
  • Collects visitor and vendor information upon entrance, distributes visitor identification and PPE to visitors and staff as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned
