Sixty years of healing! Born as a vision in 1950 by a group of dedicated citizens of Mena and Polk County, Polk County Memorial Hospital has blossomed into a technically advanced vibrant regional health system serving western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma!
Today Mena Regional health System continues the vision by progressively advancing healthcare throughout the region. Through the years MRHS has remained true to its mission of service as it has been guided by a competent team of physicians, governing board, city leaders, hospital caregivers, volunteers, and committed community. It is impossible to recognize the literally thousands of individuals who have had a part in making MRHS what it is today. MRHS is truly a community partnership.
